Lucas Grogan
Lives and Works in Newcastle, Australia
Lucas Grogan is a Newcastle based artist who uses needlepoint, installation, painting and drawing to explore themes of isolation, inclusion and cultural collisions, through an autobiographical lens. His minimal pallet lends itself to patterning, which mirrors Grogan’s process within his studio, obsessively creating. Developing a consistency and dedication in his approach translates to a prolific practice highly recognisable style.
Studying at the University of Newcastle, Grogan has exhibited in extensively across Australia and is gathering international attention, exhibiting in Singapore in 2017.
