Epau Abbey

Narelle Autio is currently exhibiting in the grounds of The Royal Abbey of the Epau, in an open-air exhibition supported by the Département de la Sarthe near Le Mans, France.

“For this 13th season, the Sarthe Departmental Council offers an immersive visual journey through its 13-hectare park, in the heart of a 13th-century Cistercian site. This new edition showcases the creativity of five international photographers who, as every year, have taken on a theme. Their works integrate with the landscapes and architecture of the site, revealing the richness of life, the fragility of our ecosystems, and the intimacy of often invisible worlds.”

The photography season at Epau Abbey brings together two series by Narelle Autio: ‘The Eyes of Her’ and ‘Place in Between – The Changelings’, alongside the work of 4 other international photographic artists.

This exhibition runs from 19 June to 2 November 2025, at Abbaye de l’Epau, Route de Changé, 72530 Yvré-l’Évêque, France.
